Modular manufacturing minimizes site construction noise and disruption for existing operations and greatly reduces the volume of construction waste and the cost to dispose of it. Meridian’s housing unit design incorporates well-insulated and vapour-proof barriers, reducing ongoing energy consumption. In addition, each unit is designed to operate with “Smart” energy practices that further minimizes energy use.
The steel-frame construction of our modular housing units allows them to be stacked up to 7-stories high, reducing the footprint needed for larger projects. Given that our modular units last significantly longer than “stick-built” units, this minimizes the amount of total resources needed over the long-term.
